Broncos Taken Down By Lobos

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer was defeated by New Mexico 2-0 Thursday afternoon at the Boas Soccer Complex.
 
The Lobos (7-3-6, 5-1-3 MW) jumped in front early after a corner-kick goal from Karlee Maes in the seventh minute. Despite outshooting New Mexico 7-6 in the opening period, the Broncos (7-4-4, 3-2-4 MW) were unable to find the equalizer before halftime.
 
New Mexico struck again in the 55th minute to extend the lead. The Broncos nearly cut the deficit in the 71st minute, but Kenzie MacMillan's shot from deep was denied by the crossbar.
