Boise State men's basketball gears up for the first of three games in six days beginning with a home tilt against UNLV. The game at ExtraMile Arena is set to tip at 9 p.m. MT and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

ABOUT UNLV: The Runnin' Rebels enter the contest 14-10 overall with a 6-5 record in the conference. UNLV is led by the top scorer in the Mountain West, Bryce Hamilton, who averages 21.3 points per game on 45.5 percent shooting. Earlier this year the Rebels upset Colorado State on the road, 88-74 (Jan. 28).
SERIES HISTORY: Boise State leads the all-time series with UNLV 13-10. Last season the Broncos swept the Rebels in a two-game series in Boise, improving to 8-2 when playing against the Rebels at home in the Leon Rice era.
CLEAN UP THE BOARDS: The Broncos are one of the top rebounding teams in the MW, leading the league in rebound margin (+6.17), defensive rebound percentage (.795) and offensive rebound percentage (.316). Boise State also leads the league in offensive rebounds per game (11.09) and have reached double-digit offensive boards in 15 contests.
CREAM OF THE CROP: Boise State's Tyson Degenhart was named the MW Freshman of the Week for the league-leading sixth time this season. Degenhart averaged 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists this past week as the Broncos split to remain in first place in the MW. Against San Jose State Degenhart exploded for career-highs in points (23) and rebounds (8) to lead Boise State to a home victory. He went on two solo 8-0 runs in the first half en route to the second 20-point scoring performance of his career. On the week Degenhart shot 13-for-22 from the field and 6-for-11 from three-point range.
