- "We talk a lot about the depth of contribution," said head coach Jim Thomas. "The starting lineup has been so good that it was an easy pick. Then the bench came in and picked up the minutes massively. Teryn Newkirk was unreal. Jayla Land was absolutely fantastic, and Hayden Wilsey had a small role but made a massive impact…I think we can lean on one another a little bit more than we have in the past."
- "This team fights hard," said Crenshaw. "We're fit and it's very nice to see the freshmen stepping up like Hayden Wilsey and Teryn Newkirk. We set those standards high and they are so great at meeting them."
- "We've been talking about me taking shots from range since that's one of my biggest qualities to score goals for our team," said Stone. "I wasn't doing that as much in the first half, so I wanted to make sure I got some shots in on goal in the second half and was lucky to get that one in."
