Home Sweet Home: The Broncos will host San Jose State on Thursday at 7 p.m., and Fresno State on Sunday at 1 p.m., to open a three-match homestand at Boas Soccer Complex.
Last Time Out: The Blue and Orange took down conference rival New Mexico for the first time since 2019 with a 2-1 win Sunday. The Broncos opened the scoring when Kenzie MacMillan took a shot, assisted by Carly Cross and Morgan Padour, from just outside the penalty box that landed in the right side of the net in the eighth minute of the match. The Broncos kept their foot on the gas as they extended their lead in the second half when Teryn Newkirk knocked in the first goal of her Boise State career off assists by Payton McBride and Evva Vail in the 52nd minute of the match.
Scouting the Spartans: San Jose State enters the match 3-5-6 overall with a 1-2-3 conference record after tying 4-4 with Colorado State on Oct. 8. The overall series record between the two schools is 10-10-3, with the Broncos holding a 6-2-2 advantage when in Boise.
Scouting the Bulldogs: Fresno State enters the week 2-6-6 overall with a 1-2-3 conference record after winning 2-0 against Wyoming on Oct. 8. The Broncos hold a slim 12-11-3 overall advantage over the Bulldogs, with a 7-4-3 record when at home.
