Broncos Down Montana to Complete Homestand Sweep

No. 59 Boise State swept a five-match homestand this week to improve to 9-0 at home, and 14-4 overall.
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's tennis rolled to its ninth-consecutive home victory of the season as the Broncos defeated the Montana Grizzlies 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the Appleton Tennis Center.

The 59th-ranked Broncos improved to 14-4 overall with the win over the Grizzlies and extended its wins streak to seven.

The Blue and Orange claimed the team doubles point 2-0 with the duo of Jan Lucca Marquardt and Ryo Minakata recording the point clincher at No. 3 doubles.

Minakata kept his momentum going in singles earning the first victory of the afternoon on court six in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.

James Van Herzeele was the next off the court at No. 3 singles where he won in two sets 6-3, 6-2 to move the Boise State advantage to 3-0.

Idriss Haddouch turned in his second match-clinching win of the weekend in singles, defeating Baltazar Wiger-Nordas 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 3 position.

- Bott increased his team-leading wins total in doubles to 25 on the year, followed by Arca Costas with 23.
