FARGO, N.D. – Boise State women's soccer opened its 2023 season with a 1-1 tie at North Dakota State, Thursday night.

In the 50th minute, Kenzie MacMillan was denied on a tough angle from the right side before putting home her own rebound to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead.

The score held until the 67th minute when the Bison's Tyreese Zacher slipped a shot inside the left post.

Boise State's Genevieve Crenshaw came off her mark to make a sliding save in the 82nd minute to preserve the tie.

The teams each had five shots in the first half with the Broncos earning two corners to one for the Bison.
