Broncos Take on Fighting Hawks in Grand Forks

Up Now:Â Boise State soccer (0-0-1) is set to play North Dakota (0-1-0) in Grand Forks, N.D., Sunday at 11 a.m. MT.

Last Time Out:Â The Broncos earned a 1-1 draw against North Dakota State in the season opener. Junior Kenzie MacMillan gave the Blue and Orange a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute of the match, after putting home her own rebound. The Bison tied the score in the 67th minute and a sliding save by senior Genevieve Crenshaw in the 82nd minute preserved the tie for the Broncos. Boise State is undefeated in its last six season openers (3-0-3).

Scouting the Fighting Hawks:Â North Dakota enters the contest with a 0-1-0 record after losing 1-0 to Montana on Thursday. The Broncos hold a 2-0 advantage over the Fighting Hawks, winning 3-1 in Boise the last time the two teams met, Sept. 20, 2019.

About the Broncos:Â Returning for the Broncos are All-MW First Team honorees Genevieve Crenshaw and Jocelyn Stephens and All-MW Second Team honoree Morgan Stone. Other key returners include forwards Ashly Berge, Carly Cross, Kenzie MacMillan and Hayden Wilsey, defenders Michaela Justiniani, Payton McBride and Evva Vail and midfielders Sophie Drown, Jayla Land, Morgan Padour and Grace Sommers. Boise State's roster also includes 13 newcomers, with 10 incoming freshmen and three transfers.
