RENO, Nev. – Boise State was once again clutch at the free throw line to withstand a late Nevada rally and pick up its second-consecutive Quad 1 victory, 64-56, Friday at Lawlor Events Center.
It's only the second victory at Lawlor Events Center for the Broncos since the start of the 2016-17 season.
At the 4:42 mark of the second half, Nevada went on a 7-0 run to cut the Broncos' lead 52-50. Boise State turned up its defense in the final 3:10, forcing the Wolf Pack to miss four of their last five shots of the game.
The Blue and Orange were able to secure the win, going 10-of-12 from the charity stripe, courtesy of O'Mar Stanley making all six of his free throws in the final two minutes.
