BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's tennis fell 6-1 to Oregon at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center, Friday afternoon.

The Broncos (2-3) started strong in doubles with a win on court one as Lorelyz Marruffo and Nicole Discenza defeated Sophie Luescher and Uxia Martinez Moral 6-1. The Ducks (5-3) rallied back and claimed the next two victories on courts two and three to secure the doubles point.

After dropping the first singles match on court three, Nicole Discenza put the sole point on the board for the Broncos, defeating Candela Aparisi 6-3, 7-5 on court five. Oregon then took the next two victories on courts four and six to make the score 4-1 and to clinch the overall victory.

The Ducks won the final two singles matches on courts one and two to earn a 6-1 victory.
