Broncos Wrap-Up Play at Chowderfest

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Boise State men's tennis concluded the second week of the fall campaign on Sunday at the Chowderfest tournament hosted by Harvard.

The Broncos sent four team members to Cambridge, where they combined to go 5-5 in singles and 3-3 in doubles against representatives from Boston College, Cornell, Harvard, Illinois, Notre Dame, SMU and Yale.

James Van Herzeele – a senior – and freshman Adam Duda led the team in singles play, both going 2-1 on the weekend.

In doubles play, the Bronco tandem of John Chin and James Van Herzeele went 2-1 overall, including a 6-4 victory over Boston College's 65th-ranked team of Jake Vassel and Andy Ilie.

WHAT'S NEXT

Boise State will send a contingent to the ITA Bedford in the Mountains tournament in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from Sept. 27 to 29.
