Broncos Perform Well at ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains

USAFA, Colo. – Boise State men's tennis completed a strong weekend at the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Two Broncos – Carson Baker and Adam Duda – advanced to the semifinals of their respective singles flights. Then, they teamed up to reach the doubles main draw final round where they came up on the short end of a 6-4 score.

Baker finished the weekend going 3-1 in singles, and Duda went 4-1, while the tandem went 4-1 in doubles.

Meanwhile, Dylan Jaen and Taiyo Kurata won the doubles consolation draw. The Bronco duo regrouped after dropping their first doubles match to win four straight to finish the weekend at 4-1 and consolation champions. Jaen went 3-1 in singles, while Kurata went 2-2.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Mountain West Conference Individual Championships are next week in Las Vegas, with berths into the Conference Masters in November and a chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships on the line.
