SPOKANE, Wash. – Boise State recorded 18 personal bests and earned five podium finishes at the Spokane Sports Showcase, Friday.

In the women's 600-meter run, Janiah Brown (1:32.91) and Gabriella Chiara (1:34.09) finished second and third, respectively, with Chiara recording a personal best.

The Broncos registered three other third-places finishes. Competing in women's 1,000-meter run for the first time, junior Brynnli Poulsen clocked a time of 2:57.04. Tom Patrick ran the men's event in 2:25.64. Calvin Bostic's weight throw of 53 feet, 7 inches capped Boise State's top-three finishers.

Notables

Boise State notched 18 personal bests, Friday after recording 28 in the 2024-25 season opener last month.
The Broncos earned five, top-three finishes.
