Janiah Brown Wins the Women's One Mile Run at Spokane Indoor Challenge

SPOKANE, Wash. – Janiah Brown clocked a time of 5:03.87 to win the women's one mile run at the Spokane Indoor Challenge, Saturday.

Brynnli Poulsen made a 1-2 finish for the Broncos with a PR time of 5:04.15. Haley Blaine finished fourth in 5:10.28.

Love Uzoekwe recorded a PR of 7.61 seconds in the women's 60 meter run during the preliminaries. She improved the mark to 7.57 in the final and finished third. Later in the day, she placed fifth in the triple jump with a PR mark of 38 feet, 2 inches (11.63m).

Gabriella Chara (2:15.19) finished third in the women's 800 meters and Calvin Bostic's shot put of 54 feet, 4 3/4 inches (16.58m) earned him second on the men's side.
