WHAT'S NEXT: Competing in the team's penultimate fall tournament, Boise State men's golf heads to Salem, Oregon to participate in the Oregon State Invitational. Consisting of 15 teams, the two-day event begins on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and concludes on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

COURSE LAYOUT: A private golf course, Illahe Hills boasts a 6,970-yard, par-72 configuration that opened in 1961.

TEE TIMES: Participating teams will play 36 continuous holes on Tuesday, followed by the final 18 on Wednesday. Each day will feature a 9:30 a.m. MT shotgun start.

LAST TIME OUT: In the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational (Sept. 29-30), the Broncos collectively shot 858 (-6) and concluded the tournament in 12th. Cole Rueck, who has captured top-10 finishes in each of the first three tournaments, fired a 207 (-9) to tie for ninth, while Reese Knox notched his second-straight top-25 placement with a 209 (-7).

QUALITY START: Through three tournaments, Boise State has amassed a 29-20-2 record. In the first two events, the team finished fifth (829, -23) in the Palouse Collegiate and T-6th (857, -7) in the Gene Miranda, marking the first time Boise State placed sixth or higher in consecutive tournaments under head coach David Trainor.

2024-25: The Broncos finished the 2024-25 campaign with an 88-63-3 record, signifying massive improvement from the previous year. Collectively, Boise State posted five top-three finishes, highlighted by the team's victory in the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Invitational.

AN EXPERIENCED SQUAD: Head Coach David Trainor is in his fourth season at the helm and is returning seven golfers from last year's team, including five upperclassmen. New to the squad is Grant Potter and Ryan Shepherd, who are from Hayden and Boise, Idaho, respectively.

RUECK CONTINUES TO IMPRESS: Cole Rueck, in his senior season, is fresh off his second-consecutive All-Mountain West selection. With 13 top-10 finishes in his career, including three this year, Rueck is one behind Brian Humphreys (14) and Hugo Townsend (14) for third on the program's all-time list.
