Broncos to Compete at Princeton Fall Classic and George Oja Invitational

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise State cross country team will have a split weekend as the team competes in the Princeton Fall Classic (Friday) and the George Oja Invitational (Saturday).
"This is an exciting opportunity for our teams to compete against schools from the east coast that we typically don't see. Both teams have been training well and are ready for this next challenge." -Boise State Head Cross Country Coach Pat McCurry said.
The Princeton Fall Classic will be held on Meadows Campus at Princeton University. Taking place in Independence, Oregon, the George Oja Invitational commences at Oak Knoll Golf Course.
Highlighted by No. 20 Princeton, the Fall Classic features 25 teams in the men's field. Also participating in the meet are two schools from the Big Ten (Penn State and Rutgers), one from the SEC (Oklahoma) and three from the ACC (Boston College, Pittsburgh and Syracuse).
The women's field features 31 schools, including three Big Ten institutions (No. 14 Penn State, Maryland and Rutgers) and two schools from the ACC (Pittsburgh and Syracuse).

- Head Coach Pat McCurry is in his second season at the helm of Boise State's cross country program. He previously served as an assistant with the Broncos from 2016-18, and also was the head coach at College of Idaho and San Francisco.
- This year will be the first time the Broncos compete in the Princeton Fall Classic.
- For the Fall Classic, the women's 6k race is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. MT. The men's 8k race will follow at 9:15 a.m. MT.
- The George Oja Invitational begins with the men's 8k at 9 a.m. MT, while the women's 6k is set for 10 a.m. MT.
- Kaiya Robertson and Meshack Kuyo are both competing in the Princeton Fall Classic. Robertson and Kuyo were the Broncos top finishers in the men's and women's Blue Division race in the Joe Piane Invitational at Notre Dame.
