
Boise State to Host Eastern Washington Before Road Test Against Washington State

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State will host its final home match of February against Eastern Washington on Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. MT before hitting the road to visit Washington State on Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. MT.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES: The Eagles (1-4) will make the trip to Boise for the first time since 2019 when the Broncos edged out a 4-3 victory. Boise State has won 16 straight against Eastern Washington and leads the all-time series 18-4, having last lost to the Eagles in 1985.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS: Washington State enters the weekend with a 7-2 record, most recently defeating Fresno State 6-1. Boise State has lost the last seven matches against the Cougars and trails the all time series 17-7.
CHASING HISTORY: Boise State has started 6-0 for the first time since the 2002-03 season. The Broncos have started 7-0 twice in program history, most recently in 1991-92 - and 8-0 once in 1976-77.
TEAM DOMINATION: All nine Broncos remain undefeated in both singles and doubles this season. The team has gone to a third set or 10-point tiebreaker in just two matches so far.
MW PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: In three weeks of action, Maya Dutta has claimed two Mountain West Freshman of the Week awards, while Zdena Safarova has earned MW Player of the Week honors once. This marks the first time since 2021 Boise State has earned three weekly awards in a season.
