Â
WHAT'S AT STAKE:Â The Wolf Pack (9-14, 4-6 MW) enter the contest eighth in the conference standings, a game behind the Broncos (15-8, 5-5 MW). The two teams met earlier this season in ExtraMile Arena on Jan. 18, with Boise State overcoming a double-digit first-half deficit to take down Nevada 61-53.
Â
THREE-HEADED MONSTER:Â Mya Hansen, Natalie Pasco and Tatum Thompson have been extremely efficient through 10 games of conference play for the Broncos. Pasco and Thompson are both averaging 13.8 points per game in MW games while Mya Hansen is chipping in 13.4 points per game. Boise State is the only team in the conference with three players ranked in the top 15 in scoring, with Pasco and Thompson tied for 11th in while Hansen sits at 14th.
Â
ON A ROLL: Thompson in particular has had a breakout season for the Blue and Orange. Jamie Smith (UNLV, 2008-12) is the league's all-time rebound leader with 1,145 career boards.
Â
THE SEARCH FOR 400:Â Assistant coach Heather Sower could pick up her 400th career victory as an assistant coach on Wednesday. The 23-year old sideline veteran, who also donned the Blue and Orange as a player from 1990-94, boasts a 399-308 (56.4%) mark as an assistant coach with the program.
Â
