
Calvin Bostic Wins the Men’s Shot Put as Broncos Conclude Action at Riverfront Invitational and Multi

SPOKANE, Wash. – Senior Calvin Bostic recorded a 17.74m shot put to earn first place among 27 competitors as Boise State wrapped up the final day of competition in Spokane, Saturday.
For the second-consecutive meet, a Bronco posted a top-five all-time result. Emily Stefan improved her own pentathlon mark, scoring 3490 points, good for fifth in program history.
The Broncos also notched seven personal bests across the three day event, highlighted by McKenna Murphy's 57.71 in the women's 400-meters. The time, a 2.15 second improvement, earned her fifth place in a field of 44 runners.
