WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State women's basketball will begin postseason play at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championships against Nevada on Sunday, March 9. The first-round matchup will tip off at 3 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on the MW Network and 670 KBOI AM.

PRESNELL'S TIME: Gordy Presnell was made for March, as the Broncos' head coach boasts a 20-8 all-time record at the MW Conference Tournament. Presnell, who has won five MW tournament titles with the Blue and Orange, is one short of the conference record of 21 MW tournament victories held by Don Flanagan (New Mexico, 1999-11).

SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK: The Broncos and Wolf Pack split both games this season, with each team winning their home game in single-digit contests. Boise State holds a 47-22 all-time advantage against Nevada, including an undefeated 3-0 mark on neutral courts. The Wolf Pack are known for their intensity, ranking first in the league in offensive rebounds (12.6) and second in 3-point percentage defense (30.3%). Lexie Givens leads Nevada, averaging 12.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

BENCH PRODUCTION: The Broncos will lean on its bench as it prepares to make a run through the tournament, as the team is ranked eighth nationally with 28.7 bench points per game. The Broncos have scored 20+ bench points in all but five games, have scored 30+ points from their reserves in 13 games, and have totaled 40+ bench points in five contests. Boise State has had at least nine different players in the scoring column in its last five contests.

DYNAMIC DUO: Natalie Pasco (25 points) and Tatum Thompson (21 points) both scored 20+ points against Utah State in the regular season finale. The Broncos have had five games this season with two 20+ scorers in the same game, the most in a single-season in program history. The duo has also taken over in crunch time in each of the past two games - Thompson scored 10 points in the fourth quarter against Air Force while Pasco scored 11 in the final frame against Utah State.

DISHING OUT THE ROCK:  Mary Kay Naro has racked up the assists lately, dishing out five or more dimes in six of her last seven contests. The point guard is two assists away from becoming the second player in program history to record 600+ career assists, and is 19 assists away from becoming the program's all-time assist leader.

NATIONALLY RANKED: Several Broncos ended the season listed in the national leaderboard in several statistical categories. Naro is ranked 14th nationally with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.6. Pasco is 19th in the nation in 3-point percentage (43.4%) while Abby Muse is 20th nationally with 65 total blocks.

LOOKING AHEAD: Should the Broncos prevail over Nevada, the squad will face the top seed of the tournament, UNLV, on Monday. That game would tip off at 1 p.m. MT and would be broadcast on the MW Network and 670 KBOI AM.
