Broncos to Wrap Up Regular Season with Three-Day Home Event

EVENT:Â Boise State beach volleyball will conclude its regular season on its home sand with the Boise State Classic, April 11-13, at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex. The Broncos will play a total of five duals over the course of the three-day weekend, beginning first with a contest against Colorado Mesa on Friday at 11 a.m. MT.
COMPETITION INFORMATION:Â The weekend will feature a total of 12 duals over the three-day event, and will feature Arizona, Cal State Bakersfield, Colorado Mesa, Portland and Saint Mary's. After their first dual against the Mavericks on Friday, the Broncos (14-10, 8-0 Southland Conference) will take on Cal State Bakersfield at 5 p.m. MT. The Blue and Orange will compete in just one dual on Saturday, hosting Saint Mary's at 2 p.m. MT. Boise State will wrap up the event on Sunday, taking on Portland at 9 a.m. MT before ending the weekend against Arizona at 1:30 p.m. MT.

PARKING INFORMATION:Â Admission and parking to the tri-dual is free. Spectators should park in the Lincoln Garage, enter the license plate number into the payment machine, select purchase ticket, and then select beach volleyball.
PACKED ITINERARY: Spectators who show up for the Boise State Classic will be in for a weekend full of fun. For the first time in program history, dogs are welcome to the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex all weekend as long as fans complete the registration form. The first 200 fans who attend the Broncos' opening dual against Colorado Mesa will be rewarded with a free smoothie from Tropical Smoothie, and spectators will receive free sunglasses during each dual while supplies last. Â
BROADCASTING INFO: All 12 duals over the weekend will be livestreamed on Playsight. Each match will have a live feed of each court so that fans can follow each competition in real time. A link to all duals can be found here, and fans can receive live updates by following Boise State Beach Volleyball on Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter).
MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS:Â Saturday's dual against Saint Mary's will serve as BroncoBold's Mental Health Dual to spread awareness about the importance of mental health. The contest will also serve as an alumni dual, with the program honoring some of its past players prior to the event.
SENIOR DAY RECOGNITION: Boise State will honor its two seniors following the dual against Saint Mary's on Saturday. Emilia Guerra-Acuña and Sharli O'Neil will be recognized during the proceedings, which are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. MT.Â

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION:Â Boise State has already taken on two of the opponents earlier in the season, having defeated Arizona, 3-2, on March 1 and falling to Cal State Bakersfield by the same score on March 16. Colorado Mesa enters the weekend with a 16-7 mark on the season, including a win over UTEP. Both Saint Mary's (14-13) and Arizona (16-9) also enter the weekend with winning records.
HOME SAND DOMINANCE: The Broncos come into its home weekend with a 15-dual home-winning streak, a record that dates back to 2021. Boise State, who has won 10 out of its last 11 duals this season, last lost at home on April 17, 2021.

LOOKING AHEAD: Boise State claimed its first championship in program history by claiming the SLC regular season crown in March. The win gives the Blue and Orange the top seed at the SLC Beach Volleyball Championship, which takes place April 23-25 in New Orleans. The winner of the championship will clinch an automatic bid to the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, which occurs May 2-4 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.Â
