Broncos Lose Series to Aztecs

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State was bested by San Diego State 10-2 in six innings, Saturday.
 
The Aztecs (29-15, 13-6 Mountain West) led 5-0 after three innings and added five more in the sixth.
 
Brooklynn Pettis belted a two-run home run in the sixth to provide the only scoring for the Broncos (29-17, 8-8).
 
Boise State closes out a seven-game homestand, Wednesday. The Broncos will host Idaho State at 6 p.m. The first 200 fans received a Sophia Knight poster.
 
NOTES
  • Mykenzie Hanna was hit by a pitch for the 17th time this season and the 32nd time in her career, adding to a pair of school records.
  • Sophia Knight collected her 92nd of the season to add to her school and Mountain West records.
  • Brooklynn Pettis hit her 13th home run of her season.
