Broncos Close Indoor Regular Season With Another Record-Breaking Weekend

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State track and field team concluded its 2025-26 indoor regular season with two program records across the Husky Classic and Don Kirby Invitational.

For the second consecutive meet, senior Kaiya Robertson improved her own program and Mountain West record in the indoor mile. She clocked a 4:24.51, more than four seconds faster than her previous mark. Pending results from around the country, the time would rank third in the nation this season.

Freshman Priscilla Adu-Gyamfi added her second all-time top-five mark and set her first program record, running 53.40 in the 400 meters. The time broke the previous school record of 54.49, set by Paige Olivetti in 2008, by more than one second.

In addition to the two program records, Boise State recorded three more top-five marks over the weekend. Alex Thompson posted a 3:59.13 in the mile, the second-fastest time in program history. Patrick Kiprop ran 13:51.45 in the 5,000 meters, the fifth-fastest mark all time. John Dailey, Trevor Cogley, Josh Green and Chase Lawyer combined for a 3:12.56 in the 4x400-meter relay, the third-fastest time in program history.
