EUGENE, Ore. — Collectively shooting an 879 (+27), Boise State men's golf concluded the Oregon Duck Invitational in eighth place.

Ending the tournament one stroke behind conference foe San Jose State, the Broncos finished ahead of Iowa (Big Ten), Idaho (in-state rival) and Grand Canyon (Mountain West). Boise State wrapped the invitational with a 7-7 record and are 73-43-3 this season.

At the end of the opening round, the Broncos were well positioned. The team shot a 283 (-1) and were alone in third place behind Michigan State (-3) and Oregon State (-2).

Across the final 36 holes, Boise State fired a 294 (+10) in Round 2 and a 302 (+18) on Day 2. In that span, the team dropped five spots from third to eighth.

The Broncos were led by Luke Cushman, who carded a 215 (+2) and tied for seventh. The performance marks his first top-10 finish of the 2025-26 campaign and fourth of his collegiate career.

Chase Gorder, Gavyn Knight and Cole Rueck all shot a 222 (+9) and tied for 41st. Reese Knox tied for 73rd after finishing 17-over par.

Boise State will have one day between tournaments and will return to action on Thursday. The Broncos will compete in The Goodwin which takes place in Palo Alto, California from March 26-28.
