BOISE, Idaho – Mya Flindt blasted her team-leading fifth home run of the season, but Boise State dropped a 4-1 decision to Portland State in the Blue Collar Classic, Friday.

The Vikings (8-11) got to Bronco starter Olivia Bauer (0-3) for three runs and added one against reliever Julianne Rose to take a 4-0 lead after three innings.

Boise State (10-14) put two runners on in the second, third and fourth innings, but did not push across a run. The Broncos stranded seven runners in the game and lost despite outhitting the Vikings 7-6.

Flindt's home run came in the sixth inning.
