Bio
Junior (2011-12) - Finished 19-6 overall, playing only during the spring season...was one of three Broncos to go undefeated against conference opponents (5-0)...saw time at Nos. 3-6 but played primarily at No. 5 with a 14-2 record...finished the season with a 15-2 streak...went 19-7 in doubles play, spending the majority of the season with Andy Bettles...the duo finished with a 14-5 record...named to Mountain West All-Academic Team.
Sophomore (2010-11) - Was a big contributor for the Broncos in both singles and doubles as a starter in 27-of-31 duals in singles and 27-of-31 duals in doubles...helped anchor the top of the singles lineup seeing most of his time at No. 2...finished the spring with a 17-18 overall singles record, including 11-16 in duals...teamed up with Andy Bettles to go 19-6 in dual doubles matches with a 13-5 record at No. 3 and a 6-1 record at No. 2...finished the season by winning 16-of-17 doubles matches with Bettles...spent the first month of the spring ranked nationally in singles by the ITA as he was ranked No. 85 in the Jan. 4 poll.
Freshman (2009-10) - Enjoyed an outstanding freshman season at Boise State as he played a significant role for the Broncos both at No. 2 doubles and Nos. 3 and No. 4 singles...finished the season with 23-16 singles record, including an 8-5 record at No. 4 and a 7-5 record at No. 3...tallied a 20-13 overall record in doubles...teamed up with Vicente Joli to record a 16-9 record at No. 2 doubles, including a 3-2 record against WAC opponents...enjoyed a seven-dual doubles match winning streak with Joli during the middle of the season...received WAC Freshman of the Year honors after his standout year...also voted second-team All-WAC with Joli in doubles.
Other - Attended Horizon Charter School...played for Gorin Tennis Academy under Vitaly Gorin and Stephen Koon...has been ranked as high as No. 22 in the nation in the 18 and under division...ranked No. 213 in the world in juniors...defeated three world top-20 players...trained with Dmitry Tursonov who is ranked No. 21 in the world (ATP)...won the Pacific Northwest sectionals in the Boys[apos] 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, and 18 and under divisions.
