She scored the game-winning goal in overtime to advance Puyallup to the 2012 state championship. Carrington was honored as the most inspirational player three years in a row at Puyallup High School. She played club under Brian Vanbloomstein and Jeff Russ on Washington Premier FC [apos]95 ECNL and played for the Washington State ODP traveling team.
