Four Top Three Finishes Open Weekend

TEMPE, Ariz. — The Boise State track and field team picked up top three finishes from Taj Dorsett, Abi Dargan, Bryce Kirby and Kendra Noneman on Friday night to open the Sun Angel Classic.

Dorsett won the women's long jump, while Dargan was right behind her in second. Both set new personal bests on the day, led by a seven-inch improvement from Dorsett in 18-3.25 (5.57m). She was the only athlete in the field to jump 18-feet.

Dargan set a new collegiate personal best of 17-11.25 (5.47m).

In the men's 200m, Bryce Kirby took second in a personal best of 21.36. He was followed by teammates David Pierce (21.81) in 11th, and Brayden Durfee (22.91) in 42nd.

Kendra Noneman was third in the hammer throw, throwing a new personal best of 188-10 (57.56m).

The Broncos will return to action Saturday morning.
