Beach Volleyball Completes California Sweep

FOLSOM, Calif. – The Boise State beach volleyball team completed a weekend sweep with a 4-1 victory over UC Davis, Saturday.
With the victory, the Broncos (10-5), extended their school-record winning streak to five and finished 3-0 in the tournament hosted by Sacramento State. Boise State posted three straight-set victories led by Kendra Bodine and Sabryn Roberts at No. 2 pairs.
Kiley Lewis and Kylee Johnson grinded out a 23-21, 21-19 win at No. 4 and Kendra Hanses and Maya Watkins cruised to a 21-14, 21-11 victory at No. 5.
Kendra Bodine and Janell Walley rallied for a 13-21, 21-6, 15-8 win at No. 1. It was their school single-season record 11th win and moved them within two of the Boise State career record.
"We did a great job today against a good UC Davis team," head coach Allison Buck said. "I thought our consistency in each pair was better than the day before and we keep improving with each match which is exciting to see. We are looking forward to training this week to get ready for next weekend in Utah."
The Broncos head to Salt Lake City, Saturday, April 13 for matches against Colorado Mesa (1 p.m.) and Utah (4 p.m.).
