The Boise State doubles team defeated a pair from San Francisco to claim the championship.

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - Boise State's tandem of Blake Bayldon and Simon Arca Costas won the doubles title Sunday at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic over a pair from the University of San Francisco. The doubles title was one of three that the Broncos had a chance of winning on Sunday as they attempted to sweep every category. In addition to his doubles victory, Arca Costas also won the singles consolation draw via a walkover when his opponent withdrew.

Bayldon and Arca Costas — the No. 1 seed — went to a tiebreaker to win the doubles championship 8-7(5) over San Francisco's Phuc Huynh and Paul Giraud. The 50th-ranked Boise State duo remains undefeated as a team improving to 7-0 overall.

The third title the Broncos had a chance to win Sunday was the singles main draw featuring Boise State's Kyryll Kryvchun. The junior battled Arizona State's Christian Lerby hard but fell short in two sets 6-4, 6-3. Kryvchun will enter the team dual season opener next week at 5th-ranked Baylor with a team-best 14-4 overall mark.
