BOISE, Idaho - Boise State volleyball collected its second sweep of the week Saturday night defeating the Air Force Falcons 3-0 in Bronco Gym. Boise State was in control of the match throughout trailing only once in the entire contest down 4-1 early in the second set before rallying on a 7-1 run to go up for good at 8-5. Â
The win was the fourth straight for the Broncos who improved to 19-8 overall and 8-6 in Mountain West Conference play with two weeks left in the regular season.Â
"I'm really excited about how the team has come together and played with a lot of energy and focus this week," said head coach Shawn Garus. "I thought Dani (Boss) and Ally (Casillas) played big roles in this win tonight. Dani did a great job of spreading the ball around and getting a lot of people involved in the attack, while Ally led defensively in the back row and did a good job passing. Passing is very important for us because it allows us to get into our system, the team did a great job doing that in both our wins this week."
