The Broncos took game three of the series 4-1 on Sunday to earn the series sweep over the Spartans.
"This first sweep of the season was huge for us and hopefully gives us some momentum moving forward," said head coach Maggie Huffaker. "We can't wait to play at Dona Larsen again and go after another series."

The victory is the fourth straight and the eighth in the last 10 games as the Broncos improved to 13-14 overall and 5-4 in conference play. The series win was the second straight for the Blue and Orange following last weekend's 2-1 win over San Diego State in Boise.
On the day, Caudill became the third Boise State pitcher this weekend to pitch a complete game, tallying nine strikeouts, while giving up three walks, two hits and one run.
"Today Taylor capped off a weekend of fantastic pitching performances with a great outing," said Huffaker. "We played great defense behind her and Lalor and Hutchins showed up in a big way at the plate for us."
Lalor went 3-for-4 batting on Sunday with two triples, two runs and one RBI. Hutchins was next going 2-of-3 with two doubles. Meanwhile, India Kelly, Autumn Bennett, Hailey Hayes and Sara Johnson all recorded hits on Sunday.
"I thought we had a great weekend as a team," said Lalor. "We had a lot of people contribute on offense and our pitching staff was dominant in all three games. Jordyn Hutchins was huge for us! It's been really fun to watch her grow as a player and step into her role. We're really proud of this sweep and excited to continue the streak at home next weekend!"
The Broncos struck early for the third time in the series scoring a run in the first. Lalor opened the game with a triple to right field. She later came home when Bella Rocco sent a sacrifice fly to right field.
Boise State wasted little time extending its lead over San Jose State striking for two more runs in the top of the second. With one out, Bennett singled to left center, then stole second. With two out, Hailey Hayes tripled to right field to bring Bennett home. Lalor was the next batter up, she sent a single to second base that allowed Hayes to cross the plate for the second and final run of the inning.
Up 3-0 heading into the top of the fifth, Boise State would tack on an insurance run. Lalor sent her second lead off triple of the day to left center. Then with one out, Rocco brought Lalor home on a ground out to second base.
Taylor Caudill had a 4-0 lead and a no hitter going through five, but that came to an end in the bottom of the sixth when the Spartans recorded their first hit — a triple down the right field line — of the contest, which led to their only run as a base runner scored from third. San Jose State would end up collecting hits in both the sixth and seventh which snapped 13-consecutive innings of scoreless ball for the Bronco pitchers.
Boise State will be back in action next weekend when they host the Utah State Aggies for a three-game MW series on Saturday and Sunday.
