Boise State completed the Sunday sweep with the win over the Fighting Hawks to go with their victory over Seattle U earlier in the day.

BOISE, Idaho – Pedro Liborio's straight-set victory on court one clinched the Broncos' victory over North Dakota Sunday night in Boise. Boise State won the doubles point 2-0, then closed it out with singles wins from Simon Arca Costas, James Van Herzeele and Liborio. The second win of the day improved Boise State to 4-4 overall.

"I think the team stood up to some pretty big challenges today, which was something that we definitely have to be really proud of," said Boise State head coach Beck Roghaar. "Playing two matches in one day is never an easy deal and obviously playing a really gritty and energetic North Dakota team in the second match was tough. We knew it was going to be a challenge. I'm just incredibly proud of the energy, the fight and the focus that we showed to get the job done today."

The Broncos opened the match by taking the team doubles point 2-0 with wins on courts two and three. Simon Arca Costas and Caden Moortgat defeated UND's Cian McDonnell and Edmond Aynedjian 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, followed by Pedro Liborio's and James Van Herzeele's victory over Riley Odell and Dylan Leeman at the third position. Both Boise State tandems went undefeated on the day at 2-0 versus Seattle U and North Dakota.

Singles opened with the Broncos striking first to go up 2-0 over the Fighting Hawks. Arca Costas was the first to finish on court two rolling over UND's Aynedjian in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to claim his 62nd career singles victory.

After the Fighting Hawks claimed a win at No. 3 singles to close within one at 2-1, Boise State's Van Herzeele put the Broncos within one of victory when he defeated Riley Odell 7-6(4), 6-3.

The match clinching victory came on court one where freshman Liborio held off North Dakota's Gerhard Sullwald 6-4, 7-5. He was forced to rally for the win after trailing early in the second set to bring it home for the Blue and Orange.

Next up for Boise State is a road trip to BYU and Utah next weekend.
