Broncos Win First Conference Match

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State soccer opened conference play with a 2-1 win against Colorado College on Thursday evening.

The Tigers (0-7-1, 0-1 Mountain West) scored the first goal of the game when Haley Harnisch took a ball and smashed it into the left side of the net in the 19th minute. A strong save by goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw in the 44th minute prevented the Tigers from adding to their lead before entering the break.
The Broncos (3-1-5, 1-0 MW) came into the second half in attack mode. Carly Cross ripped a shot into the back of the net in the 48th minute off an assist from Morgan Padour, squaring the match at 1-1.Â
A cross by Kenzie MacMillan found the feet of Ashly Berge, who netted one to give the Blue and Orange a 2-1 lead to win the match.
