ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Boise State men's tennis won a share of the Mountain West Regular Season Championship Saturday afternoon with its 4-0 victory at New Mexico. This is the third MW regular-season title in program history.

The match opened with the Broncos winning a tight doubles point, as all three matches were close. Idriss Haddouch and Jip van Assenedelft gave the Broncos an early lead, winning 6-4 on court three.

After UNM tied the doubles score at 1-1, Boise State's Caden Moortgat and Jett Middleton went to a tiebreaker before clinching the team point with a 7-6(3) win at the No. 2 position.

The Blue and Orange opened singles strong, winning four of the six opening sets. Van Assendelft gave the Broncos a 2-0 lead when he defeated Arthur Bellegy in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 2 singles.

The match came to a quick end with successive wins minutes apart. Haddouch pulled the Blue and Orange to within one of victory with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court five, followed moments later by John Chin's match-clinching victory in a set-two tiebreaker over Avery Tallakson 6-4, 7-6(1) on court six.
