Broncos Host Utah State for MW Final

Boise State will host Utah State (Nov. 8, 7 p.m.) for the Mountain West Championship Final.

ALL-MW HONORS
Boise State tabbed three student-athletes on the All-MW First Team - redshirt senior defender Ali Chatterton, freshman goalkeeper Ava de Leest and redshirt senior forward Kenzie MacMillan. Two Broncos landed on the All-MW Second Team - sophomore midfielder Jillian Anderson, junior defender Kaitlyn Slocum. Freshman midfielder Madie Donovan and de Leest were selected to the All-MW Newcomer Team.

The Broncos and the Aggies will meet in a rematch of last year's final. Boise State defeated Utah State 3-0, Oct. 30.

Boise State advanced to its fourth MW Final in the last seven seasons.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Ava de Leest was named MW Defensive of the Year and Newcomer Player of the Year. She is the second Bronco to win Defensive Player of the Year (Macie Nelson, 2020-21) and is the second Boise State soccer student-athlete to earn Newcomer of the Year (Raimee Sherle, 2016). She is the first MW player to win both awards in the same season.
BREAKING RECORDS
Kenzie MacMillan has set the Boise State single-season assist record with nine. She has 19 career assists. MacMillan is tied for fourth with Brooke Heidemann (23) at Boise State in career goals.
