Boise State Rallies for 4-1 Win at San Diego State

SAN DIEGO – The 42nd-ranked Broncos rallied Sunday afternoon for a 4-1 victory at San Diego State. Boise State came back from a 1-0 deficit following doubles to win four singles matches and secure the victory.
Boise State found itself in a 1-0 hole early following the doubles point, which the Aztecs won 2-0.
The Broncos pulled even when John Chin claimed No. 6 singles in two sets, 7-6, 6-1. Carson Baker put the Blue and Orange in the lead at 2-1 following a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 victory on court two. Lukas Velik moved Boise State to within one point of victory, winning a three-set thriller 7-6(4), 7-6(5) on court three.
Idriss Haddouch brought the match home, clinching the 4-1 team victory when he won at No. 5 singles 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3.
