Boise State Defeats Montana 2-1 in Home Opener

BOISE, Idaho – Kenzie MacMillan and Asia Lawyer each scored a goal to lead Boise State (2-0-2) to a 2-1 win over Montana, Thursday.
In the fifth minute, MacMillan received a pass from the right side of the box and finished for her third goal of the season and 20th of her career. Olivia Collins was credited with the assist.
Boise State struck again in the eighth minute, Lawyer extended the Boise State lead to 2-0 after receiving a cross from Collins.
Montana cut the deficit in half in the 53rd minute. Boise State's defense stood tall after that to secure the home-opening win.
