Victoria Lotz Shines as Broncos Conclude Competition in Nevada

RENO, Nev. – Victoria Lotz claimed victory in the weight throw and recorded the third-best indoor shot put mark in program history as the Boise State track and field team wrapped up competition at the Nevada Invitational.

Competing in her second meet as a Bronco, Lotz entered the weekend holding Boise State's fifth-best indoor shot put mark. She opened competition Friday by winning the women's weight throw with a mark of 19.21 meters. Lotz followed with a runner-up finish in the shot put, recording a throw of 15.14 meters, the third-best indoor mark in program history.

On the track, Boise State advanced two athletes to the finals of the 60-meter hurdles. Campbell Brintnall ran a collegiate-best time of 8.80 seconds to finish sixth, while Wade Pollock placed seventh on the men's side with a collegiate personal-best time of 8.58 seconds.

Boise State will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, to compete in the Mark Colligan Memorial on Jan. 24.
