Boise State men's tennis will travel to Tempe, Arizona, for the Arizona State Diablo Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 27 and 28. The invitational will start with a match against No. 31 UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 27 at noon MT, followed by another match on Feb. 28 with the opponent and time to be determined.

No. 11 Arizona State will host eight programs at the invitational, including No. 29 Arizona, No. 68 Boise State, No. 51 Liberty, Michigan State, Tulane, No. 64 Washington and No. 31 UC Santa Barbara.

SCOUTING THE GAUCHOS
UC Santa Barbara enters the match ranked No. 31 in the national ITA rankings. The Gauchos are 6-4 with losses to No. 3 Wake Forest, No. 8 Texas A&M, No. 9 Central Florida and No. 9 San Diego, all at the ITA National Team Indoor Tennis Center. The Broncos have lost the last three matchups against the Gauchos and lead the all-time series 13-6.

Stewart Aronson and Lukas Velik are just one singles victory away from reaching the 15-win milestone this season. In doubles play, Aronson and Filip Soderqvist also sit two victories shy of 15 wins on the year as a pair.

Soderqvist was named the MW Freshman of the Week on Feb. 18. It marked the first honor of his career and the first weekly accolade for the Broncos this season.

Carson Baker earned All-Mountain West distinctions in singles and doubles last season, marking the sole active Bronco to hold such honors on the 2026 roster.

Boise State has won five regular season conference titles all-time. The Broncos' first year as a member of a conference that played a regular season round robin was 2009 when they were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They went on to win that first WAC title and have since followed with three in the MW (2012, 2014, 2024 and 2025).

Since joining the conference for the 2012 campaign, the Broncos have won six MW tournament championships (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2023, 2024). Boise State has won 18 conference tournament titles overall in the program's history spanning four conferences: Big Sky (1974, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996), Big West (1997, 1999, 2000), Western Athletic (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007), and the six in the MW (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2023, 2024).
