BOISE, Idaho - On day two of a split weekend for the Boise State track and field team, the Broncos smashed 14 personal records in seven events across two meets.

Competing at the Texas Tech Invitational in Lubbock, MaLeigha Menegatti ran to a fifth-place finish in the 800-meters with a personal best of 2:12.36.

Junior Caleb Hardy led the Bronco men in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.53, giving him a top-20 finish.

In Seattle at the UW Invitational, the Boise State women in the 3,000m combined to set four personal bests. Leading the way, junior Olivia Johnson scored a 12th-place finish, besting her old PR in the process with a time of 9:31.48. Right behind her, shaving nearly 10 seconds off her old PR, was sophomore Yukino Parle at 9:32.74.

Redshirt sophomore Claire Graves smashed her PR by nearly a minute and a half en route to a 17th-place finish at 9:34.07. Likewise, sophomore Sailor Hutton knocked 19 seconds off of her PR with a time 9:52.38.

For the men, junior Jacob Grinwis secured a time of 1:51.76 in the men's 800m. That mark set a PR and moved him into the fifth-fastest time in Boise State history.

In the 3,000m for the men, graduate transfer Jonathan Shields set his fastest indoor time at 8:09.13 and was just a second off his PR. He finished 13th on the day.

Competing as the lone Bronco in the men's mile, junior Henry Mong ran the third fastest time in school history at 4:04.33, finishing 16th on the day.

The Broncos return to action next weekend at home as they host the Jackson's/Nike Boise Indoor Invite, Feb. 7-8, at Jackson's Indoor Track in Nampa, Idaho.
