Boise State (13-10, 2-4 MW) is off to Colorado this weekend, where the Broncos will compete in the 2022 Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Championship hosted by the U.S. Air Force Academy Friday through Sunday. The seven-team tournament will start Friday with three matches, while the top-seeded Nevada Wolf Pack has the lone bye.Â

WHAT'S WAITING FOR THE BRONCOS
Boise State enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed after finishing the regular season at 2-4 in league play and 13-10 overall. The Broncos will face the No. 3 seed New Mexico Lobos (9-12, 3-3 MW) at 10 a.m. (Mountain). The Lobos won the regular-season meeting 4-0 in Albuquerque on April 10. Boise State leads the all-time series 20-12 over UNM.Â
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE BRONCOS
The Boise State versus New Mexico contest winner will face the winner of the No. 7 UNLV versus No. 2 Utah State match on Saturday at 11 a.m. (MT). The championship match is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Boise State lost 4-0 to Utah State in the 2019 quarterfinals. The Blue and Orange are looking for their first MW championship since winning four straight from 2012-15. Â Â

Simon Arca Costas currently leads Boise State with a team-high 18 singles victories (18-11) this season. The senior also leads in career singles wins with 71, good for 20th all-time in school history.
Ryo Minakata recorded the second-most singles wins with 14, Jan Lucca Marquardt with 13, Van Herzeele with 12 and Caden Moortgat with 11.
In team duals, the Broncos are led by their No. 1 tandem of Arca Costas and Caden Moortgat, who are 10-6 overall, 8-6 on court one, and 2-0 on court two.
