Quotables
- "Oregon State is a strong team that caused an awful lot of problems for us structurally and we had to really be sharp as coaches to help our players through it," said head coach Jim Thomas. "The coolest part is that we are still undefeated against Pac-12 opponents this season with our only loss on the year being to the number one team (BYU) in the country."
- "It's going to be great getting to tease Liz (Ruiz, an assistant coach) for another week about her record in shutouts moving down a spot," said Thomas. "We're pumped for Genevieve (Crenshaw), she's an amazing person and player, and so is Liz so it's no surprise between the two of them we've gotten these results."
Top Broncos
- Genevieve Crenshaw racked up three saves and earned the shutout.
- Ali Chatterton, Michaela Justiniani and Jocelyn Stephens each played the full 90 minutes of the match.
- Kenzie MacMillan and Morgan Padour led the Broncos in shots taken with two each.
Notables
- Â The Broncos are undefeated against Pac-12 opponents this season, 0-0-3.
- Crenshaw (17) has now tied former Bronco, and current assistant coach, Liz Ruiz (17) for third in all-time shutouts.
- This is the first match since 2007 that the Broncos have found a result against Oregon State.
What's Next
- Boise State will host Pac-12 opponent Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. to wrap up nonconference play at Boas Soccer Complex.
