Boise State Shuts Out LMU 4-0

DENVER – Boise State men's tennis earned a neutral site victory on Saturday, defeating the LMU Lions 4-0 in Denver. The win improved the Broncos to 6-4 overall.
 
The Blue and Orange claimed the doubles point with wins by Caden Moortgat and Jan Lucca Marquardt 6-2 on court two, followed by a 7-5 victory on court one by Sam Sippel and Jip van Assendelft.
 
Sippel led the charge in singles, claiming the first of three singles victories for the Broncos. The German native and 41st-ranked singles player nationally raced past LMU's Yassine Smiej in straight sets 6-3 and 6-0 on court one.
 
Van Assendelft was not far behind Sippel, putting away his opponent at No. 2 singles in two sets 6-3, 6-2 to move Boise State within one point of victory.
 
Jett Middleton turned in the match-clinching singles victory at the No. 5 position with a 6-0, 6-4 win to end the contest at 4-0, Broncos.
