BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men's tennis recorded its second win of the year over a Pac-12 team, defeating the Washington Huskies in a tightly contested 4-3 match Wednesday afternoon at the Appleton Tennis Center in Boise.

After splitting the first two doubles matches, with court one going to the Huskies and court three to the Broncos, it came down to the No. 2 doubles contest where Boise State's Idriss Haddouch and Jip van Assendelft clinched the team point with a 6-3 victory.

Haddouch extended the Broncos' lead to 2-0 with a quick 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles over Jim Hendrikx.

After the Huskies claimed a win at No. 2 singles to pull within 2-1 of the Blue and Orange, James Van Herzeele defeated Han-Chih Lin in straight sets, 7-6(1), 6-4, on court three to put Boise State back in front at 3-2.

Washington pulled even with a victory on court four, setting up the decisive match on court one. Boise State fifth-year Sam Sippel battled to a three-set victory that featured two tiebreakers before clinching the Bronco victory with a set three blowout, 7-6(2), 6-7(4), 6-0.
