Bayldon and Arca Costas Win Titles at Duck Invitational

Boise State takes two of three titles in Oregon.
EUGENE, Ore. - Boise State men's tennis won two of the three titles at the Duck Invitational on Sunday with Blake Bayldon and Simon Arca Costas winning the doubles title, followed by Bayldon taking the singles B flight championship in straight sets.
Sunday began with the doubles championship where the Boise State duo took on Pacific's Philip Hjorth and Ross Watson. The Broncos put the Tiger combo away by an 8-4 score to claim the title.
"I was happy with the way Blake and Simon did an incredible job in putting every return in play," said assistant coach Ali Borhani. "They did a good job making sure the Pacific team felt a lot of pressure in every service game."
Bayldon then faced Portland's Nicklas Oberg for the title in the singles B flight championship match. He beat Oberg in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 to finish the weekend 3-0 in singles.
The Duck Invitational wrapped up the fall schedule for men's tennis as they will now turn their attention to the team dual season opener in January.
