They will host Utah State (3-1 MW) Friday, prior to hosting the Broncos on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT

  • Boise State men's tennis was home for two Mountain West Conference matches this past week earning a split. The Broncos lost a 4-3 heartbreaker Friday afternoon to New Mexico, then regrouped to defeat Air Force 4-1 on Sunday.
  • It took a third-set tiebreaker to decide Friday's match with New Mexico. The team score was tied 3-3 with the decisive point coming down to No. 6 singles where eventually, the Lobo outlasted the Bronco 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) to capture the deciding point for New Mexico. Boise State recorded wins from Simon Arca Costas, Simon Stenlund and Wyatt DeMulling in the loss to UNM.
  • On Sunday against Air Force it was a different story as the Broncos dominated the Falcons to claim their first MW victory. After they dropped the doubles point, the Broncos rolled in singles claiming four-straight wins by DeMulling, Stenlund, Max Blancaneaux and Luka Soskic, respectively. The home split improved Boise State to 11-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
