
Broncos Clinch Share of MW Title with Win Over Air Force

BOISE, Idaho – Idriss Haddouch's three-set victory at No. 5 singles secured a 4-1 victory over the Air Force Falcons Friday night at the Appleton Tennis Center.
The win clinched a share of the Mountain West regular-season championship as the Blue and Orange remained undefeated in conference at 5-0 and improved to 19-4 overall.
After dropping the team doubles point, the Broncos went into singles in a familiar position: They had to win four of the six contests.
James Van Herzeele was the first of three Broncos to finish within minutes of each other, all in straight sets. Van Herzeele won 6-1, 6-3 on court four, Carson Baker followed with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the No. 2 position, followed by Jett Middleton on court one where he won 6-3, 6-4 as the Broncos claimed a 3-1 advantage.
Haddouch brought the match home when he defeated Air Force's Matthew Staton in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, on court five.
