San Diego State recently lost to No. 74 Utah State, 4-0, on April 2. Boise State has won the last five meetings between the two programs. The Broncos hold a 15-12 all-time advantage, including a 7-3 record in matches played in Boise.

SWEEPS
Boise State has recorded nine sweeps this season, its highest total since 2021. One more sweep would give the Broncos their most in a single season since 2012, when they tallied 11.

RANKED WINS
The Broncos are tied for the most ranked wins in the Mountain West with two. Air Force, Grand Canyon, San Diego State and UNLV also have two, while Utah State has one. Nevada and New Mexico are still in search of their first ranked win of the season.

CLUTCH
Stewart Aronson leads the Broncos this season with a team-high four match-clinching wins. Baker follows with three, while Adam Duda, Julius Seifert and Filip Soderqvist each have two. Tallakson has added one.

MILESTONE WATCH
Baker is one win away from reaching the 20-win mark this season. In doubles, Aronson and Soderqvist are one victory away from 15 wins together this season, while Baker and Tallakson are two wins away from 20 as a pair.

MW PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tallakson was named Mountain West Player of the Week on March 18, marking the first of his career and the first for Boise State since March 5, 2025.

MW FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Soderqvist was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week on Feb. 18 and March 11. He now owns two weekly honors this season, accounting for two of Boise State's weekly awards.

RECORD BOOK MOVEMENT
Taiyo Kurata and Julius Seifert have recorded 22 career wins as a pair, and one more victory would move them into 16th place in program history. The duo also has 19 dual-match wins, another would place them 13th all-time. Meanwhile, Baker and Tallakson are one win away from reaching 20 victories this season. With one more win, they would move into 15th place in program history for single-season wins as a pair.

ALL-MW RETURNER
Baker earned All-Mountain West distinctions in singles and doubles last season, marking the sole active Bronco to hold such honors on the 2026 roster.

Boise State's roster consists of seven returners (Baker, Duda, Idriss Haddouch, Kurata, Seifert, Michael Seversen and Lukas Velik), one transfer from Clemson (Aronson), another transfer from New Mexico (Talllakson) and one freshman (Soderqvist).
